My husband and I are vegan about 95% of the time, and always at home.

We tend to go vegetarian when we travel so that we can relax, and have more choice. Some trips weโ€™ve been on literally didnโ€™t offer any vegan choice (and not much for vegetarians - even in California at times).

We have done three cruises with P&O Cruises now, and itโ€™s absolutely possible to be Vegan; we ate in the main dining rooms (MDRs) almost every night (we arenโ€™t really buffet fans) and there was always at least one vegan choice. However, we often chose the vegetarian option as we just fancied that more.

Breakfast: plenty of choice, including beans, toast, mushrooms, avocado, tomatoes, eggs, yogurts, pastries, bircher muesli, etc.

Lunch: again, lots of choice at all times.

Dinner: MDRโ€™s, usually 2/3 options every single night. Every single dish we had, I thoroughly enjoyed; delicious with great service.

We also paid a little extra and had absolutely wonderful meals at Sindhu on all three occasions. On Arvia, we ate twice at Green and Co. which is 100% plant-based and it was wonderful; highly recommend it.

Images below of the wide variety of delicious food enjoyed - rest assured, youโ€™ll eat well as a veggie on a P&O cruise!
