Beautiful Dorset Coast

Dorset is a beautiful county, with gorgeous coast line, stunning beaches and wonderful cliff-top walks.

Here are some of the places we visited:

Lulworth Cove

Wonderfully quiet, and great for dogs to have a little run around and swim.

Fantastic half hour walk from here to:

Man O War Beach

…and from there to:

Durdle Door

Fantastic walk for humans and doggies alike :)

Another day we went to

Corfe Castle

…a great place for a picnic, and dogs are allowed in. Highly recommend The Greyhound Inn nearby, dogs are allowed and they have some lovely vegan options (including dessert).

Another day we had a fantastic time in:

Lyme Regis

Well worth a walk along the Cobb (as featured in Jane Austen’s Persuasion) - this photo is from another, less sunny trip, but both visits were equally as lovely!

We also visited Chesil Beach (really nice), Weymouth (don’t bother) and many other small towns. Dorset is a fantastic UK holiday destination, ideal if you enjoy walking and great for doggy holidays.
