Northumberland…
Northumberland has a lot to offer for those who enjoy a walk… or a beach… or the countryside. Rolling green hills. Beautiful beaches. Friendly people. Castles.
Sadly, for us, it was terrible weather, despite being July, with a severe weather warning towards the end of the week so we left early. We’ll definitely return, though.
We stayed in Beadnell… also visited Alnwick, Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, and Cragside (National Trust).
