Ostara / Spring Equinox Rituals

Spring Equinox, also know as Ostara, is when there are equal hours of light and dark, marking the start of spring and the arrival of lighter, warmer days.

This is a perfect time to pause, check in with myself, and practise simple rituals that feel therapeutic, relaxing and uplifting.

Here are a few ways I like to celebrate Ostara:

🌿 Spend time in nature
Take a mindful walk, notice the signs of new life, and reconnect with the natural world around you. Spring has a gentle magic - blossoms appearing, birds singing, and longer, brighter days returning.

✨ Set intentions for the season ahead
Just as nature is beginning to bloom again, this is the perfect time to reflect on what you’d like to grow in your own life. What seeds are you planting? What would you like to nurture over the coming months? What will you manifest this season?
Read more about manifesting, here >

πŸ•― Create a simple ritual or sacred space
Light a candle (or several), gather a few meaningful objects, or create a seasonal altar with flowers, crystals, or anything that feels aligned with spring energy. Write in your journal, reflecting on the past season and what’s to come. Pull an oracle card - I love this Ostara deck Β»

🌸 Declutter and refresh your space
Spring is a time of renewal - a chance to clear out what no longer serves you and make space for fresh energy to flow in. It’s the perfect time to burn some sage to cleanse your environment and energy - more on why and how to do that here Β»

πŸ’› Practice gratitude
Take a moment to appreciate the shift in seasons and everything you already have. Gratitude is such a powerful way to ground yourself and invite more positivity into your life.

Happy Ostara / Spring Equinox!
