Sherlock Holmes

Until fairly recently, I'd never taken any interest in Sherlock Holmes. With hindsight, that seems kind of strange seeing as reading is my favourite thing to do.

I enjoyed the recent movies, esp. the second one - what a great team Robert Downey Jnr. and Jude Law make... but most of all, I LOVE the TV series. I love the plot, the actors, the music, the twists and excentricities of Sherlock. It's brilliant and if you haven't seen it, you've missed out.

So; I decided to read Sherlock Holmes and downloaded the complete collection on my Kindle for a mere 77p. I'm only half way through, but I have not been disappointed. Brilliantly written, modern for its time, intriguing, fascinating and, quite honestly, a stroke of genius. I hope that many others will read the stories since the movies and TV show have bought them to everyone's notice again.
